• Shop submissions: business name, address, contact number, owner/contact name, and service details you provide.
• Public listing data: business information imported from public sources such as Google Maps, Facebook and local directories.
• Basic usage data: standard, non-identifying analytics about how pages are used (once analytics is added).

2. How we use it

To create and review listings, to verify shops, to operate and improve the directory, and to contact you about a listing you submitted.

3. What we don't do

We don't sell your personal information. We don't take payment through the site, so we don't collect card details. We don't post a private individual's data, since listings are for businesses.

4. Imported business information

Where a listing was imported from a public source, it represents publicly available business contact information. If you own a listed business and want it corrected or removed, contact us and we will act on it.

5. Sharing

Business listing details are public by design. We may use service providers (for example hosting) who process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.

6. Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act you may ask to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information we hold about you. Reach us through the contact details to be added before launch.

7. Retention

We keep submission data for as long as a listing is active, and a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping, then delete it.

8. Changes

We may update this policy and will post the new date above.
